Emergency Crews Battle 2-Alarm Fire at Scituate Oceanfront Home

Firefighters from multiple communities respond to blaze on Oceanside Drive

Firefighters from Scituate, Cohasset, Hingham, and Norwell battled a two-alarm fire at an oceanfront home on Oceanside Drive in Scituate on Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. and quickly spread through the three-story home.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the home, but it caused extensive damage.

No one was injured in the fire, but the family who lives in the home has been displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
