Brazil U23 defeats Venezuela U23 in Conmebol Pre-Olympic Tournament

Brazil wins 2-1, advances to final

Venezuela U23 fell to Brazil U23 in the final of the Conmebol Pre-Olympic Tournament on Friday night, losing 2-1.

Brazil took the lead in the 10th minute when Matheus Cunha scored a goal, and they held on to that lead until halftime. In the second half, Venezuela U23 came out fighting and managed to equalize in the 55th minute with a goal from Jan Carlos Hurtado. However, Brazil U23 regained the lead just 10 minutes later when Paulinho scored, and they held on to win the match.

With the win, Brazil U23 advances to the final of the tournament, where they will face Argentina U23. Venezuela U23 will play in the third-place match against Colombia U23.
