HBO has officially announced the premiere date for its upcoming limited series, The Sympathizer. The show will debut on Sunday, April 14th at 9:00 PM EST on HBO and HBO Max.

About the Show

Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Viet Thanh Nguyen, The Sympathizer follows the journey of a Vietnamese double agent who infiltrates the American embassy in Saigon.

Teaser Trailer

The first teaser trailer for the series was released on April 12, 2023, a year ahead of its premiere. The trailer gives a glimpse into the show's espionage-filled world and introduces the main character, played by Robert Downey Jr.
