Early Life and Career
Luke George Evans was born on April 15, 1979, in Pontypool, Wales, and grew up in Aberbargoed. He began his career on stage, performing in London's West End productions of "Miss Saigon," "Taboo," and "The Railway Children."
Breakthrough Roles
Evans made his film debut in 2002's "Tamra, Daisy, and the Pelican." He went on to appear in supporting roles in films such as " Clash of the Titans," "Robin Hood," and "The Three Musketeers." In 2013, he had his breakthrough role as Owen Shaw in "Fast & Furious 6."
Recent Work
Since then, Evans has starred in a number of successful films and television shows. These include "Dracula Untold," "The Girl on the Train," "The Alienist," and "Nine Perfect Strangers." He is also set to appear in the upcoming prequel series to "The Fast and the Furious" franchise, titled " Hobbs & Shaw."
