The Kyrgyz Flag

The flag of Kyrgyzstan was adopted in 1992 and has a striking red background symbolizing courage, strength, and victory. Emblazoned upon the red background is a golden sun with 40 rays, representing the 40 Kyrgyz tribes that united to form the nation.
