The Bundesliga is back, and so are Bayern Munich. The German giants made a winning return to action on Saturday, defeating Hoffenheim 3-0 in their first match back since the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bayern were in control from the start, and they took the lead in the 16th minute through Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker added a second just before half-time, and Serge Gnabry wrapped up the scoring in the second half.
The victory takes Bayern top of the Bundesliga table, and they are now just one point away from securing their eighth consecutive league title.
